This is for an eligible Australian Masters by research or Doctorate qualification that meets the relevant specialist education criteria.

Select Yes if you have an eligible credential for interpreting or translating through the recognised Australian accreditation pathway.

Select Yes where the qualifying Australian study was undertaken while living and studying in an eligible regional area.

Partner points depend on whether your partner meets the relevant age, English, skills assessment and occupation requirements. A competent-English-only partner can attract 5 points; an eligible skilled partner can attract 10 points; an eligible single applicant or applicant with an Australian citizen/permanent-resident partner can attract 10 points.
